Empowering Spells

Witch's Bottle

The beauty of the Witch's Bottle is it can be used for many different purposes. It's all in what you put inside. If you plan to make more than one, you might consider a label or symbol to put on the outside of the bottle to represent the spell inside. If you can find colored bottles, you can even color code your bottle for whatever the intention.

You'll want to start with a clean, empty bottle that easily seals shut. Gather items that correspond to your intent (herbs, stones, oils, slips of paper with intentions written on them) that will fit in your bottle. As you add them to the bottle, empower them with your energy and visualize their part in your goal. Once all of the items are in, visualize all of the elements coming together to acheive your goal while gently shaking the bottle to stir them together. Seal the bottle shut and put in the appropriate place; for home protection put it at the entrance to your home; for business success, put it on your desk. Keep the bottle sealed and in place until it's no longer needed or you're ready to break the spell. For help with the ingredients, check the correspondences page. Here's a sample mix to give you the idea:
Witch's Bottle for a financial boost
  • One green bottle for material gain
  • Bergamot oil for money
  • Ginger for success
  • Piece of quartz (earth element) for money and prosperity
  • A picture (or written list) of what the funds are for
As an added boost in energies, put the bottle together on Thursday, a day for prosperity and abundance. Don't forget that you have to do your part to make it work. Don't spend money frivolously, expecting the spell to bring in the necessary funds. Budget wisely and the added funds will usually be just what you need when you need it.
